Description: (top)

This system is very effective when an outdoor tandem / "double-lane" system is needed, and you would like to avoid the obstruction from up-rights throughout the middle (which cause ball ricochet etc.). 30' is too far for "cross-members" to span without bowing, so we compensate by using aircraft cable which runs horizontally, in lieu of the cross-members. This creates a very clean & professional system, and keeps the materials & shipping costs down, because of the limited amount of poles used.

Cables are attached to the 5 "end anchor points" with turn-buckles, which tighten the tension and create plenty of support for a heavy-duty net. Turn-buckles are also installed at the 3 "side anchor points", and run perpendicular to the tunnel. These provide an additional 5 support points for the linear cables.

*Up-rights require concreted 3' into ground with 12" diameter concrete base

Divide the tunnel into 2 individual lanes:

A center "divider curtain" can also easily be installed on a sliding cable system, which runs just under the main center cable, and allows the divider to be tracked back and forth when needed, to open up the entire tunnel for throwing, directional hitting practice etc.

Components for Standard System in schematic below: (top)

*Each Up-right includes fence-caps & 3' PVC Schedule 40 Ground Sleeves with caps
