Description:
Our Wall CurtainCages include 3 cables
which run horizontally, at the same height as
your net. The cables attach to turn-buckles,
which attach to eye-bolts or steel face plates,
which anchor into your wall or structure. Steel
or plastic snaps attach the cable lines to the
top of your tunnel, creating a "curtain
effect" - allowing your tunnel to curtain
to either side of your facility, "bungied"
up against the wall, approximately 2-3' feet
from the wall.
Bottom
Line: Keep in mind that while the
nets will be against the wall, you will still
have 3 cable lines which run overhead at the
same height as your net. If you need to maximize
your over-head space, you will want to consider
a Ceiling CurtainCage
or a Winch CurtainCage (coming soon -- contact
for info).
Also
keep in mind that not all cable is created equal.
While you will find other companies that sell
"hardware kits" for substantially
less - you get what you pay for. All
of our materials are 100% U.S. based, and engineered
with structural support in mind. Trust us, we
have access to the cheaper materials as well,
and could easily sell "aircraft cable kits"
for 50% less than our prices, which may look
the same in pictures, but are inferior in quality.
Trust your instincts, if the price seems too
good to be true, it probably is.

Line: The Basic Kit is Optimal for
lighter-weight batting cage nets in use with
a steel frame with center support points, or
within a short gym distance i.e. #21 gauge netting
over 60' or shorter span -- if spanning longer,
additional vertical drop-points will be required.
Note:
If you don't have solid anchor points, you can
only put so much tension on your cable lines
without reinforced anchors. Unless you have
a very light-weight net, the result of this
is either a large amount of sag, or pulling
your eye-bolts out of the wall - or both. So
if you don't have "back-side" wall
access to mount a large anchor washer or plate,
you may want to consider our Commercial
or Pro Kits, which include
Steel Mounting Plates.

for our professional nationwide installations.
It creates solid cable lines for optimal support,
and results in professional looking tunnels.
The adhesive combined with the extra durable
12"x12" steel plates (with 8 lag points
to disperse the tension) also gives the additional
stability to insure your plates are adhered
tightly against your walls, mitigating safety
risks.
