All of Portolite's mounds are constructed from polypropylene or polyethylene resilient foam cores and then encapsulated with different hardness’s of polyurethane material or simulated flexible rubber. Mounds for outdoor use are covered with original Astroturf from Astroturf manufacturing. No imitation turf or fiberglass is used. As a result, the Portolite mounds have lightweight features, a full body, and no shell.

Here are the full features:

• The 6" Game Mound will feel comfortable to any pitcher 5' tall or taller.
• Fully turfed with regulation rubber attached.
• Pitching from an elevation will increase pitch control.
• Weighs an average of 60 lbs.
• Easy to move and store.
• Simply place the mound at desired distance and rake dirt to edges of mound.
