Batting Cage Net Material Options
Nylon (Premium Material) is more durable and will have a longer life-span than Poly, and is hands-down the best option for indoor use. It's also a durable outdoor net because of it's UV Inhibitors & Black color. If it will be exposed to freezing temperatures, add a Latex Dip treatment to water-proof.
Polyethylene / HDPE (Econo Material) is a good entry-level option for family use, or a temporary solution. It won't withstand a heavy-use environment. If used for high-school baseball or above, Nylon is the answer.

*Attention new training facilities -- if you don't have your Certificate of Occupancy, we recommend contacting your local fire marshall to ensure the netting will not need to be treated with a fire retardant to pass your local code. We can not guarantee it will pass all of the various regulations & codes throughout the country. We do offer a fire retardant treatment when needed - please contact us for a quote.

Our stock sized Deluxe Nylon Cages make premier batting cage nets available at very reasonable pricing. Also, since our Nylon is extruded black, it won't fade or discolor in the sunlight. And unlike most all other options on the market, our batting cage tunnels are HAND-SEWN WITH A KNOT AT EVERY MESH!

Standard Features:
- Hung Square 1-7/8" Square-mesh netting (not diamond)
- Knots are hand-tied at EVERY mesh for extra secure construction!
- 1-piece construction available - eliminates horizontal seems and maximizes usable interior space!
- Steel snaps securely sewn into the corners of cage for ease in installation (6 total).
- Sag elimination rope running along the length of the cage on top (middle rib-line).
- Polyethylene rope borders (3/8" diameter) surrounding perimeter of cage.
- Netting is impregnated with UV inhibitors and coated with an extra heavy bonding agent to reduce water penetration and to better hold knots.
- Latex coating can prolong the life of your cage by up to 3 years by blocking UV rays and preventing water penetration. (available for an extra 10%)
Extra Features included FREE of charge with all Deluxe Cages:
- 7' Door-Way in corner (7'x3' overflap for safety) with steel snap and ring for secure closure. Entry flaps are reinforced with 5/16" Yellow twisted Polyethylene rope.
- Extra strong Leadcore Bottom Rope made with braided NYLON and POLYETHYLENE fibers to prevent ball roll-out.
- Impact Screens included to absorb the impact of the ball hitting the net on the batters-end of the tunnel. This screen is sewn to the roof of the cage and hangs down to the bottom of the net where it is secured with two (2) steel snap hooks in the corners.
